“Hours” is a by-product of some RISO experimentation that I did last year with Jeremy Rendina at MARGINS Imprint. While I dug the results, I felt they needed a bit more oomph. I went back over them with a mix of pastel, color pencil and paint marker. Turns out they got more of a rework than an embellishment. I tucked them away in a flat file for the past year and when I finally pulled them back out, I saw that they had a life of their own. MARGINS will be offering these variations in an edition of 10. - BC
